How the Options Overlay Works
ARCUS.TREND uses a VIX + IVR regime filter to decide whether options are cheap or expensive.

Cheap options (VIX < 20, IVR < 30%) → buy debit spreads (bull call spreads). You pay a small premium for defined upside.

Expensive options (VIX > 30, IVR > 50%) → sell credit spreads (bull put spreads). You collect premium and win if the stock holds.

The options overlay added $111,216 to the 25-year backtest on top of the stock system's results.
